#1 RIO CARNIVAL Rio de Janeiro, Brazil Feb. 28 – March 4 of 2014 The Carnaval in Rio de Janeiro is a world famous festival held before Lent every year and considered the biggest carnival in the world with two million people per day on the streets. The first festivals of Rio date back to 1823. It’s filled with samba music, colorful costumes, and giant parades.

#2 ICE and SNOW SCULPTURE FESTIVAL Harbin, China Jan. 5 – Feb. 5 of 2014 The annual Harbin International Ice and Snow Sculpture Festival was originated from local Harbiner traditional ice lantern show garden party in winter since 1963.The Harbin festival is the largest snow and ice festival in the world, and it features carvings towering over 20 feet in height and full-size buildings made from gigantic blocks of ice.

#4 CASCAMORRAS Baza, Spain Sept. 6 of 2014 The Fiesta de Cascamorras is a festival that takes place in the towns of Guadix and Baza in the province of Granada, Spain, annually on September 6. The two towns fight for possession of a statue of the Virgen de la Piedad.

#5 LA TOMATINA Buñol, Spain August 27 of 2014 La Tomatina is a festival that is held in the Valencian town of Buñol, a town located 30 km from the Mediterranean, in which participants throw tomatoes and get involved in this tomato fight purely for fun. It is held on the last Wednesday of August, during the week of festivities of Buñol.

#6 RUNNING of the BULLS Pamplona, Spain July 6 – 14 of 2014 The Pamplona's Running of the Bulls (encierro) is the most popular in Spain has been broadcast live by RTVE, the public Spanish national television channel, for over 30 years. It is the highest profile event of the San Fermin festival, which is held every year from July 6–14.

#7 INTERNATIONAL BALLOON FIESTA Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA Oct. 4 – 12 of 2014 The Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta is a yearly festival of hot air balloons that takes place in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA during early October. The Balloon Fiesta is a nine day event, and has around 750 balloons. The event is the largest hot air balloon festival in the world.

#8 LANTERN FESTIVAL China, Vietnam, Taiwan February 14 of 2014 The Lantern Festival is a festival celebrated on the fifteenth day of the first month in the lunisolar year in the lunar calendar marking the last day of the lunar New Year celebration. During the Lantern Festival, children go out at night to temples carrying paper lanterns and solve riddles on the lanterns. It officially ends the Chinese New Year celebrations.

Recently U.S based technological magazine t3 announced, one of the biggest categories in the T3 Gadget Awards "the Phone of the Year". In this categories Apple iPhone 5, Sony Xperia Z, Samsung Galaxy S4, Nokia Lumia 925, BlackBerry Z10 and hTC one are being short listed. But hTC One take the winning place as Smart phone of the year.

IPL6 | The Greatest T20 Cricket League

The Indian Premier League (IPL) is now the most popular among all  other T20 cricket league. Its popularity is equal to the World T20 Cup Cricket because all the big superstars of cricket are available here. In 2013, it will be the sixth season of IPL. CeBIT 2013, the wold's biggest technological service fair has commenced in Germany on 5th march.
