Longest Alpona (Hand made paint) of the world :

The world's most largest & longest road design (Alpana) was painted on 13th April 2012 in Bangladesh. It was painted on the eve of new Bengali year 1419. This largest Alpona was painted on Manik Mia Avenue, which is situated on the south side of Bangladesh National Parliament .This Manik Mia Avenue is 1 kilometer long and 40 feet wide. This spectacular design covered 260 thousands square feet area of the Avenue. The design's title was 'Akbo Amra Dekhbo Bisho'. The title means ' we draw and world will see'.
